I absolutely loved this hostel. Great staff, gave me usefull traveltips for a dozen other countries. You can see that the owner has stayed in a lot of hostels before opening his own, this one has everything a backpackers needs. The location is not that central, but there's a good train...

Hotel Kobe Shisyuen 82%
Staff lack english and finding the hotel is difficult. Exit the central exit and turn left. You'll find a map outside with the hotel's location. Beware that from the street you'll come in on that the hotel's english name is not used.
